My Carolina Cotton Wreath business began around 2016 when at my nephew's funeral, I made and gifted cotton wreaths to my family members so they would have something tangible by which to remember him.
Just the Thanksgiving before his untimely death, he had joined me and several other family members in the cotton field to pick cotton. With some of the cotton we all picked that day with him, these special wreaths were made.
Since that time, I personally hand picked, cleaned, and thoughtfully curated many pounds of cotton and pods turned wreaths to many across the nation to enjoy this versatile piece of home décor. All cotton and pods have been farmed here in South Carolina.
